Specialized coating belonging to the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) family

It is part of the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating family.

It is made with electric arc technology and is composed of a Chromium Nitride adhesion layer and an amorphous Carbon layer.

The main features of this coating are a low coefficient of friction and a high chemical inertness, combined with good hardness values and an excellent adhesion to substrates.

It is produced at a temperature of 250 °C, which considerably extends its scope of application.

When to use the Cromvic coating

MECHANICAL APPLICATIONS

It is frequently used to coat various types of mechanical parts, such as, for example, mould ejectors, trolleys and mould centring devices, camshafts, valves and other, where the reduction of friction is essential.

SHEARING AND FORMING DIES

In the shearing and forming of light alloys and pasty materials in general.
