miniToolsCoating manufactures very high quality solid bevel gear cutters for spiral bevel gears.
Constant quality and precision
The strict specifications of our production process and heat treatment guarantee constant high quality throughout the tool life. We respect very tight tolerances in all main geometrical characteristics and severe dimensional standards for every type of tool.
Full range of tools
In addition to the standard range we produce nominal diameters on customer’s request. We realize tip radius, profiles with Toprem and crowning on cutting flanks.
100% final testing
All tools are checked on a special dedicated three-dimensional involute inspection equipment. Inspection certificates can be provided upon request.
High performance coatings
Tools are coated using last generation PVD coatings, specially optimized to be applied on the tools we produce: this, combined with high precision sharpening, increases performance of tools.
Fixturing
For the use of solid cutters type 6” and 7,5” we also realize the proper fixturing for the gear cutting machine.
Dedicated packaging
Tools are provided with suitable packaging in order to preserve integrity until delivery at Customer’s facility and during the subsequent transport for the regrinding and coating services that we provide.
Less wear over time
For our tool we use high resistance powder metal high speed steels:
- standard release using ASP2023, with high hardness and toughness;
- special release using S390, for use at higher cutting speeds.
Service
For the best regeneration of tools we also provide a fast and accurate service of sharpening and coating.
